Durham Synchro Tier 6 & & Teams, Duets and Solos Move on to Nationals!

The results are in after the five-day Eastern/Atlantic Divisional Challenge at the Nepean Sportsplex in Ottawa , and include six podium placements for our Tier 6 and Tier 7 teams. The competition, hosted by Gloucester Synchronized Swimming Club, welcomed over 300 elite athletes from Ontario , Quebec , and the Atlantic Provinces as they vied for divisional titles in figures, solo, duet and team competition.

Highlights

Both Tier 6 and Tier 7 teams will compete at their national championships in May and June.

Both Tier 6 duets and a Tier 6 solo have also qualified to go to Nationals by placing in the top ten.

As "Top 18" athletes in combined figure results at Provincials and Divisionals, many of our Tier 6 and Tier 7 swimmers will also now be invited to attend High Performance camps this September at The Olympium.

Congratulations to all athletes and coaches for putting forth their best effort in a field of very tough competition, where we competed against extremely strong teams from Quebec .
