Durham Synchro Swimmers Selected for International Competition

Durham Synchro's Katie LePage, Brianna MacLellan, Jessica Henry and Julia Maclean will all compete at various international competitions this summer

In the culimination of their most successful season in the history of the club, Durham Synchro's Tier 7 Jr. team will send four of its swimmers around the globe to compete this summer on provincial and national teams.

Durham 's Julia Maclean of Ajax was recently chosen to Canada 's National Junior Team, following tryouts at the Canadian Open championships in Victoria , B.C. Julia will travel with her teammates from across Canada to compete in Hawaii at the U.S. Open synchronized swimming championships this summer.

Whitby 's Katie LePage and Brianna MacLellan have been chosen for Ontario 's Junior Team, which will compete in Barcelona at the Spanish Open. LePage was selected to the team for the second time. And a fourth Durham Tier 7 Jr. athlete, Oshawa 's Jessica Henry, will compete at the Peru Invitational as a member of Ontario 's 13-15 team.
