Rogers Cable TV Visits Durham Synchro

Rogers Cable videographer Amanda Pride interviews Durham Synchro's Julia Maclean.

The crew from Rogers Cable TV returned recently to check up on what our club has been up to in the past few months, and First Local Sports/Eye On Durham videographer Amanda Pride and producer Donal Beattie liked what they saw!

Following on-camera interviews with three Tier 7 Jr. swimmers and taping of a typical Tier 7 Jr. practice at one of our Oshawa-area pools, Amanda went back to Rogers Cable and produced a three-minute segment on our club that was broadcast from April 13 – 15 to thousands of cable subscribers.

Last year, Rogers focused on our Tier 7 Jr. team's preparations just prior to the Canadian Open Synchronized Swimming Championships in Winnipeg. In this visit, Rogers profiled our club's tremendous contribution to Team Ontario at the recent 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon, which included a silver medal in duet, and a silver medal in team.
