Durham Synchro Swimmers Compete At International Events

CONGRATULATIONS to four Durham Synchro swimmers who have recently competed at three international synchro events!

Tier 7's Katie LePage and Brianna MacLellan recently returned from Barcelona , Spain , where they competed with their Team Ontario teammates at Espana Sincro from July 6 – 8! Competing against teams from as far away as Russia , both the combination team and the free team finished second only behind Spain 's national team. Duet partners Katie LePage and Samantha Mawhinney (OSSC) finished 4th . Congratulations, Katie and Brianna!

Tier 6/Tier 7's Jessica Henry has just returned from Lima , Peru , where she competed in the V Sincro Peru – Aquatica Cup from July 5 – 8 with her teammates from the Provincial 13-15 Team. The team did extremely well and took the gold medal. Congratulations, Jessica!

And at beautiful Waipahu , Hawaii , the results are in from the 2007 US Open Championships, where Tier 7's Julia Maclean recently competed with the Junior National Team. Canada won gold in team, duet and solo! Congratulations, Julia!
