Strong finish to a sensational year!

Durham Synchro Tier 7’s, capped off their season with successful National and International meets. At the U.S. Open in Florida the ladies placed 6 th in Team in a very strong field. Julia placed 9 th in solo. Individual figures highlights include Julia Maclean in 7 th, Brianna MacLellan in 21 st and Carrie Mouck in 35 th.

In Sherbrooke, Quebec at the Canadian Nationals, Team placed 6 th and the duet of Julia and Carrie finished in 8 th place. Julia Maclean placed 7 th in figures and Carrie Mouck placed 42 nd.

On the heels of this very successful season, many of the Tier 7 athletes have been named to special teams. Julia Maclean has been named to the Canadian National Junior Team. Carrie Mouck and Brianna MacLellan are members of the 2008 Provincial Junior Team while Stephanie Geller and Jessica Henry were named to the Provincial 13- 15 A Team

From the Tier 6 teams, Rachel Nickerson and Alycia Halyk have been named to the Provincial 13-15 B Team, and Kionna Whyte and Sarah Masters have been named to the Ontario 12 and Under Team.
