On February 11-12, 2011, swimmers from Durham Synchro’s National Program headed to the Etobicoke Olympium to compete in the 2011 Provincial Championships. Beginning the year off with a bang, several DSC swimmers and teams reached podium status. Coaches Julia Maclean, Jenilee Keslering and Head Coach Holley Lundmark were pleased with swimmers’ results and were encouraged by their progress. Athletic results had been enhanced by new workout regimes and dry land training. DSC swimmers made their presence felt against long standing rivals.
Special recognition goes to the Jr. FINA team who took third place in the Team Finals Championships while the 13-15 Yr. placed fourth and the 16-18 Yr.
